One thing that makes Overwatch 2 stand out is the endless customization options available for your favorite heroes. From sprays and highlight intros to flashy skins, there’s always a way to personalize your gameplay experience and flex your individual style.
Legendary Skins may have been the top-tier cosmetics at one point, but Mythic Skins have completely redefined how players showcase their flair. These customizable skins offer unique animations, effects, and even voice lines, making your favorite heroes even more iconic.
If you want to add some of these Mythic Skins to your collection, here’s a guide on all the available Mythics in Overwatch 2 and how to unlock them.
Mythic Skins are the highest-tier skin available in Overwatch 2, above Legendary. They're designed to be the most sought-after hero skins, offering customizations, various color options, unique voice lines, and in-game flair to flex over other players.
The customization options vary for each Mythic cosmetic, ranging from different colors and weapon styles to other visual upgrades like different-styled masks. Some skins have multiple levels of customization available, while some have less.
Mythic Hero Skins have been around since the release of Overwatch 2 and the introduction of the Battle Passes in October 2022. Players could obtain that season's Mythic Skin by leveling their Premium Battle Pass to Level 80 through playing the game, completing challenges, and earning Battle Pass XP.
However, with the changes that came with Overwatch 2 Season 10, Mythic Skins are now only unlockable through the Mythic Shop.
This in-game shop allows players to obtain previously missed Mythic Skins using 80 Mythic Prisms to unlock the Mythic Skin base and all the customization options.
Mythic Prisms, the all-new extra-premium currency, can be earned through leveling through the Premium Battle Pass, giving players the chance to earn Mythic Prisms at a minimum cost.
Players can easily unlock all 80 Mythic Prisms by grinding through the Premium Battle Pass tiers, allowing them to unlock one "free" Mythic Skin per season. However, if players wish to, they can purchase Mythic Prisms in-game using real money.
Here are the Mythic Prisms Bundles available to buy in Overwatch 2.
There are currently thirteen Mythic Skins in Overwatch 2, accounting for each individual season and its Battle Pass. OW2 Season 14 starts on December 10, meaning a new Mythic Skin is on the horizon.
The previous Mythic Skin was the most recent one, Spellbinder Widowmaker, which launched with Season 13. It is currently available in the Mythic Shop but will be taken away for a season or two, giving players the opportunity to unlock other skins in the Mythic tier.
Earlier seasons offer a Mythic Skin at the end of the Premium Battle pass, but they now all require 80 Mythic Prisms to unlock.
Here are all the Mythic Skins available in Overwatch 2, in order of their release, from Season 1 to Season 13.

While we don't know what the next Mythic Skin will be, we can assume it'll be for a Tank or Support, using patterns from previous Mythics and the Mythic from Overwatch 2 Season 12 was for Damage hero, Reaper.
There are currently only three Mythic Skins for Tank heroes (Junker Queen, Sigma, and Orisa), while the other two classes (DPS and Support) have six and four Mythic Skins, respectively, so it makes sense to even out the numbers with a new Tank Mythic.
Prime candidates for the new Season and its Mythic Skin include D.Va, a fan-favorite Tank hero, and Reinhardt, who could get a Mythic Skin to match his Mythic Weapon.
Mythic Weapons are new cosmetics introduced in Season 11. Reinhardt was the first hero to receive a Mythic Weapon called Bound Demon Reinhardt. These weapons have a special look, including flashier animations and unique effects. Like Mythic Skins, players can buy them using Mythic Prisms.
The base level for a Mythic Weapon costs 50 Prisms, giving access to the base skin without the effects. These are also accessible through the Mythic Shop.
There are currently two Mythic Weapon Skins in Overwatch 2, with one introduced mid-way through a Season. This gives players two options on which to spend their Mythic Prisms in the Mythic Shop: either a Mythic Skin or a Weapon.
Here are all the Mythic Weapon skins currently available in Overwatch 2. We'll update this section when a new Mythic Weapon is released.
Mythic Weapon | Season |
---|---|
Bound Demon Reinhardt | 11 |
Midnight Sun Ana | 12 |
Mythic Deliverance Soldier: 76 | 13 |
